Notes on ceramic work

Pricing

Pricing may change as I continue to learn the ins and outs of e-commerce & small-batch ceramics. Anything listed above is the most up-to-date pricing.

At this time, I am only accepting payment via Venmo.

How I’m determining the price

  • Materials: clay, glaze, tools, packaging

  • Equipment & energy use

  • Kiln share fees: As I do not have a personal kiln, I am currently firing with fees from other ceramicists

  • Time & labor (of love)

  • Investment into artistic development & studio improvement

Shipping

While packaging materials are covered in the item price, I will calculate the estimated shipping cost to your selected address, and add that to the total. Depending on item quantity & size, the price will vary.

I will continue to update here as I learn more on estimated pricing & tracking of the items ordered.

Processing time

As a small-batch ceramicist with a full-time job, processing time may take several days/weeks. I will confirm the estimated time of delivery with you once you have submitted a request via the Idea Portal.

Care instructions

I will only use food-safe mid-fire glazes (Cone 5-6) for items listed under “Kitchen & Dining" & I will notify you if any items outside of that category are explicitly not food safe.

General Care Instructions for Kitchen Pottery through my own personal experience:

  • Avoid dishwashing, but it’s not the end of the world.

  • Avoid microwaving, but it's not the end of the world.

  • Don't use pottery on a hot stove

  • Use a mild, non-abrasive soap or detergent & avoid abrasive sponges or scrubbers

  • Avoid excessive temperature differences

*Disclaimer: I am a budding ceramicist and appreciate all the love and support you may provide. Pieces may be a lil wonky, but they’re made with love.
